School River Trips
Learn On The River!
The South Fork of the Shenandoah River has long been recognized as an excellent river for novice paddlers. School trips are a great opportunity for some fun and learning while experiencing a river environment. Front Royal Outdoors will work with you to satisfy your school’s educational requirements while providing a fun experience for both student and teachers. For decades the staff at Front Royal Outdoors has worked closely with school groups to plan the perfect trip to focus on specific curriculum requirements. Lunch options are available or pack your own and utilize our picnic facilities. Many schools take advantage of all the outdoors has to offer in this area by planning part of the day visiting the parks nearby such as Shenandoah National Park or Shenandoah River State Park with the other part of the day spent playing on the river with Front Royal Outdoors. Join us for adventure and education on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River and let us handle the details.
