Shenandoah River Rafting Trips
The Ultimate Shenandoah Rafting Adventures
Shenandoah River rafting is an exciting adventure! Enjoy the beauty of the Valley while paddling or floating a raft north between the Shenandoah National Park and the George Washington National Forest. While floating the crystal clear water of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River, you will experience moving water with a few riffles and small waves (Class I) and a couple areas of easy rapids with moderate waves and wide clear channels (Class II). Rafts are a popular choice of families for their stability and large groups for their cost effectiveness and team building potential.
A FEW RAFT TRIPS MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE AT CERTAIN RIVER LEVELS. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO SELECT THE TRIP YOU PREFER, PLEASE SELECT A TRIP WITH FEWER MILES.
- Please visit the paddling conditions page for trip selection guidance.
Please note that raft trips are not guided and the rates are per watercraft. You may put up to four people in a 4 person raft and up to six people in a 6 person raft. Rates do not include 5.3% Virginia sales tax.
Minimum age of four years old in rafts – no exceptions!
Shoes or sandals with a heel strap are required for all river trips. We do not allow guests to wear flip-flops.
Please check out the river conditions page prior to booking to see if there are any trip recommendations.
