Front Royal Outdoors offers the best weekday and weekend rates on the South Fork of the Shenandoah River! We also offer the most Shenandoah River trip options and packages in the area. All of our Shenandoah River trips are self-guided with shuttle service included. For any trip you choose, come to our office and we take it from there!
Reservations are always recommended, especially for weekends, but not required. Online reservations must be made at least 2 hours prior to arrival. Phone-in reservations must be made at least one day in advance. We recommend making large group and holiday weekend reservations at least one week in advance. Weekday reservations are usually not needed, but recommended for large groups to guarantee availability.

How it Works
Each of our offerings requires adventurers to choose how long they would like to experience the Shenandoah River and on which watercraft they would like to use during their trip. For all of the trip selections below, your transportation to and from the river is included.

Making a Reservation

Online reservations are recommended and require payment in full at the time of booking. Groups that qualify for discounted rates should call the office to make the reservation. Call-in reservations still require a credit card to confirm the booking, but we’ll wait to process the card until the day of the trip. See our cancellation policy on the FAQ page.

Featured some more advanced river features, this is a great float for those who want to test their paddling skills. This float is best when the river flow gauge is above 2 feet.
