Kayaking In Virginia
Explore The River On A Kayak
Mix and match kayaks and canoes for the perfect multi-day outing. Our multi-day kayak trips are for the adventurer looking for the ultimate river and camping experience. Pack your gear and food, remember to pack light as kayaks have limited storage capacity. Once you arrive at our office, we’ll handle all the details as we shuttle and outfit you for your river tour. Camping options include primitive style in the backcountry of George Washington National Forest, numerous private riverside campgrounds with facilities, the Shenandoah River State Park, or our private Skymont Lodging facility. Please note that customized shorter distance trips may be required in lower river levels. As with all our trips, it’s not the amount of time you take to complete your trip, it’s the mileage. Customers are allowed to complete their trip at their leisure within our hours of operation.
Please note that rates are per watercraft, with a maximum of 1 person per solo kayak and 2 people per tandem kayak. Rates do not include 5.3% Virginia sales tax.
Minimum age of six years old in kayaks – no exceptions!
Shoes or sandals with a heel strap are required for all river trips. We do not allow guests to wear flip-flops.
Please check out the river conditions page prior to booking to see if there are any trip recommendations.
