Explore the Shenandoah River on a Full-Day Canoe Trip
Full-Day Canoe Trips and Adventures
Full-day trips are great for the avid paddler or those that want to spend the entire day on the river. Longer trips allow the paddler to experience all the Shenandoah has to offer, from riffles to Class I & II rapids, from riverside cliffs to pastoral farmlands and all the Valley’s flora and fauna. The perfect full-day trip is completed with a packed lunch enjoyed on an island or riverside beach while taking in a bright sunny day watching all the river life happen in front of you. Full-day canoe trips are generally best when river levels are in the normal range and are the best way to explore all the little coves and side passages the river has to offer along the way.
Please note that canoe trips are not guided and the rates are per watercraft. You may put up to three people in a canoe at a time, but two people is strongly recommended. Rates do not include 5.3% Virginia sales tax.
Minimum age of six years old in canoes – no exceptions!
Shoes or sandals with a heel strap are required for all river trips. We do not allow guests to wear flip-flops.
Please check out the river conditions page prior to booking to see if there are any trip recommendations.
