Full Day Shenandoah River Canoeing
Full-Day Canoe Trips in Virginia
Full-day Shenandoah canoe trips are great for the avid paddler or those that want to spend the entire day on the river. Longer trips allow the paddler to experience all the Shenandoah has to offer, from riffles to Class I & II rapids, from riverside cliffs to pastoral farmlands and all the Valley’s flora and fauna. The perfect full-day trip of paddling the Shenandoah River is completed with a packed lunch enjoyed on an island or riverside beach while taking in a bright sunny day watching all the river life happen in front of you. Full-day canoe trips are generally best when river levels are in the normal range and are the best way to explore all the little coves and side passages the river has to offer along the way.
