1. Wildcat Ledge Trail
Wildcat Ledge is a short but moderately challenging out-and-back trail that rewards you with a beautiful view of George Washington Forest. It’s a wonderful trail to explore from March through October and attracts fewer crowds than other hikes in the area. Try this trail during fall for a gorgeous view of the changing seasons!
2. Woodstock Tower
Looking for a little adventure and a stunning view? Climb to the top of Woodstock Tower to take in the area’s natural scenery. This is one of the few towers where you’re still allowed to climb to the observation deck and is one of the best things to do near Shenandoah National Park.
