Here’s a few tips on choosing your trip!

Our shortest trip options are perfect for beginners or for those with very limited time. We recommend our hourly trips for your first experience on the river so you can enjoy all the river has to offer. We recommend our day trips for intermediate and adventurous paddlers with more time to explore the Shenandoah River. Our short trip #1 has become very popular with groups and families alike for its convenience, quick shuttle, Class II rapids, beautiful scenery and take out at our base.  Customers are allowed to complete their trip at their leisure within our hours of operation. If the river’s water level is above normal or high, we recommend choosing the raft as your choice of watercraft.

Important Information

Please note that trips are not guided and the rates are per watercraft. You may put up to four people in a 4 person raft and up to six people in a 6 person raft. Kayaks are single or tandem. Canoes can accommodate up to three people but we recommend two. Rates do not include 5.3% Virginia sales tax.

Minimum age of four years old for most trips – no exceptions!

Shoes or sandals with a heel strap are required for all river trips. We do not allow guests to wear flip-flops.

Please check out the river conditions page prior to booking to see if there are any trip recommendations.
